Since 1976 (the start of the NPC) Buller has never won the 2nd or 3rd Division competition, until the advent of the Meads & Lochore Cup competition. They lost in the final of the Lochore Cup twice in 2010 & 2013. However they won the Lochore Cup in 2012.

The most appearances is by Luke Brownlee (161) from 1999 - 2016.
The most points scored is by David Baird (575) from 1981 - 1991
The most tries scored is by Thomas Stuart (44) from 1984 - 1999.

In 2016 Buller finished 3rd in the Heartland Championship round robin & then lost a semi final of the Meads Cup.

The 2017 coaches are Craig Neill & Craig Scanlon.
