Southern Kings - a brief rugby history

The Southern Kings entered the Super rugby competition for the first time in 2016.

In 2017 they play 7 home games against the jaguares, Stormers, Lions, Rebels, Sharks, Brumbies & Cheetahs. They will play 8 away games against the Sunwolves, Sharks, Western Force, Reds, Waratahs, Lions, Jaguares & Bulls.

The head coach is Deon Davids. The assistant coaches are Mzwandle Stick & Barend Pieterse.

The 2017 captain is Schalk Ferreira.
